Dr. Francesco Origgi, a veterinary pathologist at
the University of Bern, Institute for Fish and Wildlife Health, visited
the Department of Infectious Diseases and Pathology on his way through
Orlando to Hawaii and presented a seminar on wildlife diseases in
Switzerland (Take a Walk on the Wild Side) on 11 October 2010.
Dr.
Origgi completed his PhD studies with Dr. Elliott Jacobson on diseases of
tortoises as well as an anatomic pathology residency at the UF College of
Veterinary Medicine.
