High ISO Performance of the EOS-1D Mark II
Comparison of EOS-1Ds, EOS-1D Mark II and EOS-1D at ISO of 800 and above. Exposures were done under very low ambient light in aperture priority mode at f/2.8 with an EF 70-200mm f/2.8L lens on a tripod, custom white balance off grey card. Images shot in raw and converted with Canon EOS Viewer Utility. Autofocus errors resulted with the EOS-1Ds under low light with resulting slightly out of focus image at ISO 1000 with this camera. Noise levels can still be assessed in these images.
