Object: M42
(Great Orion Nebula) and NGC1977 - Narrow Band
Equipment:
Takahashi FSQ-106N on Takahashi EM-200 mount with Vixen
60X700 guidescope; SBIG STL-11000M with narrow band filters
(Astrodon, 5nm, H-alpha [hydrogen 656nn], OIII [oxygen 501nm], SIII
[sulfur 672nm]
Exposure/Processing: 45 minutes
each filter (900S exposures). Processed as RGB (R=H-alpha; G=SII;
B=OIII) in Maxim DL and Photoshop. Layers added 4x300s and 4x30s.
3x30 minutes H-alpha used as luminance.
